Enjoy the ultimate challenge of your hashing life. Starts at an altitude of 8,250 ft and finishes at about 11, 500ft. Charges Sharing a room with two beds – Kshs 3,500 per person Single room – Kshs 4,500 per person Day rate (Runners who want to come and run and go back home or seek alternative accommodation) – Kshs 1,000 Rates for singles and sharing includes: T-shirt, logistics, Refreshments up the Mountain, Dinner on Saturday, Accommodation for one night at Sportsman Arms Hotel in Nanyuki town, breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Invitation to Register a Corporate Team Composition of the team must include 7 men plus 2 women ( or 7 women plus 2 men ) seeded numbers 1 to 9 The run starts at Kiira District Headquarters at 7.00am, traverse Ssonde, Naluwerele, Lugazi railway crossing at the source of the Nile and ends at Crested Crane Hotel, Jinja. Corporate teams will be entitled to a one night stay in Jinja, 10 single rooms bed and breakfast, dinner on Saturday night and plenty of drinks. Teams will need to print at least 3 tee-shirts per runner with a team logo to be worn during the run. A service van or mini-bus for each team will be necessary loaded with plenty of energy drinks and packed lunch should be organised for all members of the team. Onh3 - Full Moon Run this Friday!

Dog is organizing a Full Moon Run from his place in Loresho on Friday 13th March from 6.30 pm. This will be a night-time jog around Loresho starting around 7 pm, mostly along well-lit streets, mostly tarmac, mostly within gated areas (well mostly). Each stop will be at a Hasher's house and will include beer (of course) and any bitings the host may feel like serving. It won't be a long or fast run. In fact there's a risk it may degenerate into more of a stumble than a jog. To be followed by chilli con carne, sauna, swimming and whatever else your heart desires at Dog's place. So bring your swimming gear and towel (unless you're from Scandinavia, in which case come naked). Cost: Shs 200 to cover the food. Directions: Get to Loresho Ridge either by using Kaptagat Road off Waiyaki Way at the Kangemi bridge, or via Lower Kabete Road where you get onto Loresho Ridge via Kyuna Road. Once on Loresho Ridge drive to the end, pass Loresho water tower (on left). At the end, there is a Buddhist Centre on the left and a primary school on the right. Turn right onto the narrow tarmac road named "Close Close" opposite the Buddhist centre and just after the school. After 50 m fork right onto a dirt road. Then go round a left-hand corner and steeply downhill (signs for Savosnick). Park on the hill or inside the gate if room. Attire: Well it'll be dark and it's Friday 13th, so how about something white and ghostly? On On!
