 Visit to SOON Children's Home Dec 2009 Report
On Saturday, December 19th, a delegation of four hashers (Gunslinger, Baba Mboga, Femiplan, Fireme) along with a visiting hasher from the Montpelier Hash in France (Hubert) bought foodstuff and delivered these along with clothes, toys and other donations to the Soon
Children’s Home in Kasarani. The sixteen children who now make Soon their home were overjoyed, as was Mama Lucy, the custodian of the home. The team met with Lucy who gave us a tour of the home and showed us the great contribution that hashers had made this year in terms of electricity provision and the chipboard walls of the structures.

2009 Christmas Visit to SOON Children's Home |
 As the Christmas season is now upon us, we would like to ask you all to please contribute generously towards our drive to collect dry goods (foodstuffs), clothes and toys for the children of Soon Children’s Home.
The Nairobi Hash House Harriers will be visiting the Soon Children’s Home on the morning of Saturday, December 19th. If you would like to join us, we will be departing from Impala Club at 9.00am to make the trip to the home in Kasarani..

Mbale run
The bus will be leaving from the National Theatre on the morning of
June 3rd (Martyrs Day).
Day 1 (Friday)
Will be a Pub Crawl within the town followed by a fireside party at
Wash and Will Country Resort climaxing in a midnight visit to Oasis Night Club.
Day 2 (Saturday)
Will start with a continental breakfast at Wash and Wills Country Resort
followed by the Sponsors' Grand Luncheon (at a place to be named)
and a bus trip to the famous Wanale Hills with various beer stops,
Hooks, check backs and false trails along the run.
A beer filled bus trip back to Wash and Wills for Dinner will conclude
the run. The gang will then journey to African Gardens Bar and
Restaurant for a barbeque party.
Day 3 (Sunday)
Return will be on Sunday Morning after a full course
continental breakfast.
